Top 5 Theme Parks Apps Performance in the US Q3 2021

In Q3 2021, the top 5 theme park apps in the United States showed distinct trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers insights into the performance of these apps on a unified platform.

Six Flags experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 106K at the beginning of the quarter to around 44.7K by the end of September. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 203K to 122K over the same period.

My Disney Experience saw fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at about $132K in mid-July and stabilizing around $106K by the end of September. Weekly downloads ranged from 67K to 75K in early July, then fluctuated and settled at approximately 51.7K in the final week. Active users peaked at 292K in mid-July before decreasing to around 221K by the end of Q3.

Disneyland® showed a stable weekly revenue trend, with a peak of $77K in mid-July and maintaining around $56K by the end of the quarter. Downloads peaked at 64.8K in mid-July, ending the quarter at about 56.3K. Active users increased from nearly 100K at the start of the quarter to approximately 128K by the end.

Universal Orlando Resort had a steady download rate, starting at 50.9K and ending with 31K by late September. Active users saw a gradual decline from 128K to around 99K throughout the quarter.

Universal Studios Hollywood™ experienced a varied download trend, starting at 28.9K and peaking at 32.9K by the end of September. Active users increased from approximately 42.7K to 46.7K over the quarter.
